Year 2

Welcome to Year 2!

In Year 2 we have two classes - Rowan Class and Chestnut Class

Rowan Class is taught by Mrs Yeomans and Mr Hill and with Mrs Lawlor and Miss McKinley as our teaching assistants. Chestnut Class is taught by Mrs Irvine (Mon-Thurs) and Mrs Turner (Fri).  Our teaching assistants are Mrs Kyle and Mrs King.

In Year 2 we do lots of amazing topics:

• This Is Your Life
• Fantastic Festivals
• London with a focus on the 'Great Fire of London.'
• Discoveries Big and Small
• Australia

In the Spring term we have a drama workshop exploring the events of the Great Fire of London.

In the Summer term we start our new topic with a visit to Nower Wood to explore the different habitats within the woodland, along the way trying pond dipping and hunting for mini beasts.
