Week 5 Activities
On this page, you will find the tasks for Week 5 (first week back after the Easter break).
We hope you have all had a lovely break and managed to enjoy the lovely weather.
You will see there is a new template (The Home Learning Overview), where we will explain ALL the work we have put up on here for you for the week. Please have a look for this in the attachments on this page.
Each week, there will be some reading and SPAG tasks, English, Maths, RE and a Topic project (which you can complete with siblings if that's easier for your family).
There will also be some '2Dos' set on Purple Mash for Reading and SPAG, but these do not have to be completed if you are not able to access this regularly or can not work on a computer/laptop. If this is the case, you can use the Powerpoints for grammar put up on here and the spelling frame website (if you can access the internet). Alternatively, your adult can check your writing with you when you complete the English tasks and correct your spellings. Then you can practice these words a little bit each day (In your Green spelling book if you have it).
If you are usually in Mrs Dalziel's group for Maths, there is a specific powerpoint to use for your Arithmetic practice rather than the Corbett Maths site and we also suggest you have a go at the one star worksheets for time to start with and see how you get on.
This website is also helpful for anyone who is struggling with time. Click on the link and there are lots of time games at the bottom of the page:

Your adult will hopefully have had an email explaining the new way we are approaching setting Topic work aswell. This topic based work does not have to be completed. You may do as much or as little as you would like or are able too, but we have noticed that having one theme across the whole school makes it easier for many families. Rather than telling you exactly what we would like you to do, we are making some suggestions and you can do what works for you and your family. The topic work for each week can also be found in the Whole School section.
