Today we are continuing with the work on evacuation. Look at the powerpoint and then complete the activities. 

Activity 1 - Complete the speech bubble activity on the evac sheet document. Write how you think a child would have felt when leaving and arriving. 

Activity 2 - on the blank map of the UK mark the places children were evacuated from.

Activity 3 - Imagine you were going to interview an evacuee. Write 10 questions you would want to ask them about their experience. Think carefully about the different topics you could ask them about - Leaving the city ; at the train station ; on the train ; arriving in the countryside ; being in the new home ; eating the first meal ; meeting new friends ; starting a new school ; living with different people in a very different place. Write your questions on lined paper.
